Sorry for the lack of posts. I've been keeping busy with a few DIY projects and some much needed illustrating. I felt I needed a black shredded something. I started searching through thrift shops for the perfect black cotton shirt. Six hours later is my DIY Raquel Allegra! I must say it is so addictive and almost meditative minus the sore fingertips.
wow!
ReplyDeleteWooooo great job, you actually did that PROPERLY, so that it really drapes and extends, great jobb :D show us an outfit with it :D!
ReplyDeletewow that shirt looks great! i'm so impressed
ReplyDeleteOH! MY! GOD!
ReplyDeleteThat looks amazing!!!
Was that just a regular old t shirt before? How long did that take you?
Thank you everyone! I can't wait to wear it.
ReplyDeleteApril: I searched for a slouchy thin cotton that wasn't faded and with a bigger neckline. I think this is a womens XL, it had 2 slits on the side and was pretty long like a mini dress. So I cut the front across and left a 3 inch difference in the back. It took 2 days 3 hour each, so six total. I just put on this film called Electric shadows, So good!! By the end I was bursting into tears but still shredding...lol
ya that's beautiful. why do i want a dusty rose version? i dunno but i do. my colour loves change every season. it gets confusing!
ReplyDeleteOooh! That sounds very nice for spring. I was searching for Taupe and peach T shirts too!
